Genocide is the worst of all crimes committed by man. It is a topic you simply cannot avoid when researching human rights, peace and justice. Genocide has existed since the beginning of mankind in nearly every part of this world.
The aim of this blog is to educate and inform people about genocide and its prevention. On this blog, you will find articles on the concept of genocide, as well as case studies, tools and ideas about how genocide can be prevented, and much more.
Joseph Conrad once called genocide the Heart of Darkness. It might sometimes feel like confronting the topic of genocide is intimidating and renders you powerless, but it is, in fact, the opposite. Your interest and commitment can make a difference!
Only if we are able to understand the irrationality of genocide and learn to recognise signs of it, can we put a stop to this crime. Instead of allowing evil to dominate, it is our duty to spread tolerance, unity, peace and love. Peace always comes from within and, if we all carry love in our hearts instead of hate, then these atrocities are given no quarter.
